Your domain name is your internet identity.
Every Edition of our Foundation Site Packages are
complete with a domain name to give your business the professional image it
needs to succeed online. Your domain name is very important and is part of
your web address (it's the bit after the www) and it also appears in your email
address (the bit after ther @).
Something that sometimes gets overlooked is that your domain name should be
registered to your business - not your web developer! If you are not the
legal registrant for your domain name then legally you don't own your ownline
brand. If you have a domain name and you'd like us to check it for you
please contact us - we don't charge you for
checking the registries.
Your address on the web
- Every Edition is supplied with a domain name
- Starter Edition - choice of .co.uk/org.uk
- Other Editions - choice of .co.uk, .com, .net, .biz
Where possible we will try to register a name that is descriptive of your
business or your actual business name (if available). We strongly
recommend the use of a .co.uk top level domain if it's available as this can
help acheive a higher rank in the Google UK search engine.
We have been using reg-123 as our preferred registrar for over ten years and we
handle the renewal process and day to day administration of your domain name
leaving you worry free. If you already own a domain name we can transfer
it to our registrar.
Please note that we ALWAYS register domain names to our clients to make sure
that YOU are the legal registrant (owner).
