Lanzarote Electronic Commerce

Since 1998 when we launched the first multi-vendor e-commerce solution in the UK we have watched the world of online shopping with interest.  We innovated back in the nineties with systems that faxed orders to vendors directly from the web, very low cost monthly payments, and advanced integration with VISA and merchant services to allow our clients to take payments through their web sites.

More than ten years later we have a new online shopping solution and it was made available to customers in Lanzarote in June 2009 after a successfull launch in the UK.  With an easy to use interface and tight integration with PayPal, the Lanzarote Advanced Commerce Engine (LACE) gives every business on the island the ability to sell online.

Of course, in keeping with our policy of not writing code more than once, many of the components used in the online shopping system can also be used to quickly add BUY NOW or SUBSCRIBE NOW (or even DONATE NOW!) buttons to a web site even if a full online catalog shop is not needed.

For example, bars selling souvenirs can now sell online, holiday rental companies can take deposits online, and web sites can be commerce-enabled to charge monthly access fees or one off registration fees.

Because the core components of the solution are in our library we can add payment facilities to any web site in a matter of hours (sometimes less than an hour!).
